day 10, jun 18th – Homeward Bound

Headed back to the states and it was just another usual travel day with Marshall- long flights, video screens that didn’t work in our row (but seemed to work in the rest of the plane), lost boarding passes for our connecting flight, and screaming babies. For those of you that didn’t already know, it’s quite the joke that when you fly with Marshall, something always happens to not go your way:)

What a whirlwind of a trip- an amazing experience, super kind people, glimpses into such different cities and universities, and most of all, lots of memories!

Our trip by the numbers….
1 Ford Fiesta
2 backpacks
3 UK National Rail trains
4 bikes
6 airplanes
7 cities
8 university campuses
10 days
12 buses
1600 pictures
Countless metros

Along our journey, we did catch some humorous signs, and thought I could end with that…

Happy summer and safe travels! Take care, Lori and Marshall
